Day 1 of finding work as a teenager

Last year I got my first job in January working at Subway. It was a pretty good first job, but I can’t tell you much since I only worked for less than 3 months because of covid. Luckily I was able to file for unemployment, but stupidly I didn’t listen and filed late in the year so I only got the $600 stimulus once. It’s been about 7 months since I started receiving money, but not nearly as much as I did when I was working. Having the freedom to be able to go out and spend my unemployment money on things I needed and didn’t was really nice, but things happened and I’ve decided to finally get myself a job. Today I made list of all the jobs I cold apply for. I have 15 so far and not even sure if they all hire 16 year olds. As I jo on I will write about those who do and don’t. Today I applied to Target. It was a pretty easy process. I will apply to a few more places before calling it a night. I’ll update tomorrow.
